The Champagne & Caviar Experience offers 50+ fabulous premium wine selections in addition to the 100 offerings in the Grand Zesting. The Champagne & Caviar Experience attendees have access to the Ultimate VVIP Luxury Lounge, champagne flights, caviar tastings, luxurious seating, live music, and culinary creations.

Start your evening at 6pm with A Sparking Affair presented by Premier America Credit Union. A Sparkling Affair reception is held under the glimmering lights of the porte-cochère. From 6pm to 7pm, guests enjoy a VIP pre-event reception featuring passed bubbly Piper Sonoma as well as a Bubbles Bar. Live music serenades guests enjoying passed hors d’oeuvres and a taste of what’s to come next. Participants can pre-register for the charity auction benefiting The West Houston Leadership Institute. At 7pm, the Main doors open to the grand event featuring gourmet offerings from West Houston’s finest restaurants competing for the Best of Zest Culinary Awards.

Sometimes you just need a little “getaway” to relax, sip on some premium wine, enjoy gourmet food and unwind to some gentle music. In the Champagne & Caviar Ultimate VVIP Luxury Lounge, you'll be treated with white glove service, given your own keepsake wine glass and enjoy all the elements of the Grand Zesting and entire experience. The Champagne & Caviar Experience offers our guests the perfect escape. A sanctuary of tranquility for conversation, a space to compare notes on your new favorite wines, and access to The Spirits Patio with premium offerings. When you’ve chilled, step back into the main room for fantastic food selections, wines galore and craft beer for those with a palate for brews.

Zest in the West features a wine pull, big board items and a silent auction, with proceeds benefiting the West Houston Leadership Institute. Funds raised will provide scholarship funds to train and develop leaders in the West Houston community. Sip and savor your way through a “Zesty” evening the good life.

Meet Special Guest of Zest Chef Marcus Paslay

Marcus Paslay is the executive chef & owner of Piattello Italian Kitchen and Clay Pigeon in Fort Worth, Texas.

After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, New York in 2006, Paslay worked in some of best restaurants around the country before opening his own restaurants. Paslay’s restaurants capture his lifelong deep appreciation of food with from-scratch dishes made with the freshest ingredients.
Chef Paslay will do a beef preparation demo for the Champagne & Caviar Experience Guests. The demo will show guests how to do exotic cuts from beef. Chef will take a ribeye loin and cut it into two different steak types and then cook and serve the two cuts to show the comparison. He will take the debris/leftover cuts and create a demo of steak tartar topped with caviar. Chef Paslay will offer all three to guests at his presentation.
