Chef Kerri Allee's culinary career (journey) began at the age of 5 when she received her first cast iron skillet from a dear family
friend and mentor, Mae Mae Johnson. Kerri would sit on the kitchen counter and watch Mae Mae cook the family meals; she was fascinated.
For her fifth birthday she asked her Mom, who is a talented and inspiring cook in her own right, for Quiche Lorraine to be served and a
chef was born! Food and preparing beautiful, healthy meals have been her passion ever sense!
Kerri rounded out her culinary education at the Art Institute of Houston with an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Culinary Arts and has recently returned from Barcelona, Spain, where she had the pleasure of taking local cooking classes. With an emphasis on the art of Paella, Tapas and local desserts, Chef Kerri's experience was well rounded and glorious. She is also a graduate of the Culinary Business Academy, a member of the United States Personal Chef Association and certified in Food Safety by ServSafe Corporation.
Chef Kerri spent many years early in her career working at Hilton Hotels in New England and fine restaurants in Ridgefield, CT. She served as Executive Dinning Chef to the President of Conoco in Houston, TX. and was Executive Chef at Compaq Computers now Hewlett Packard.
After over 20 years in the Food Service Industry, Chef Kerri has changed her direction to bring the restaurant experience to your home in a more personal and intimate way. You can have casual or formal dining without the hassle and clean up, dinner for two, Interactive Dinner parties for a group of friends, hors d' oeuvres and cocktails or gourmet meal service waiting for you to heat up and enjoy after a long day.
