What is this Zesty Zest in the West?
Zest in the West is a luxury Zestival in the prestigious Memorial/West Houston Community area to raise scholarship funds for the West Houston Leadership Institute. A celebration of wine and fine foods designed for both the novice and serious enthusiast. Featuring culinary treats from West Houston restaurants and wines of all styles. So not to forget the beer lovers we even have a special event for them as well as well: Bubbles & Brews!

When & where can I buy a ticket?
Tickets can be purchased on the Ticket Page of the Zest in the West website. General Admission tickets may be available at the door at a slightly higher price than online.
Do you accept credit cards or checks?
We do not accept personal checks. We only accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. At the event, we accept cash as well as credit cards. You must be 21+ with a valid ID to purchase tickets and attend the Festival.
What is your lost / return / exchange policy?
Tickets purchased online will be emailed to you. Should you misplace the email, please contact us and we will re-send the email over to you. If you can’t come please try to find someone to take your tickets! There are no refunds for any reason. All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable. All tickets are only good for the event for which they were purchased and cannot be switched for another event.
What is the appropriate ID to get in?
You must be 21+ with a valid ID to purchase tickets and attend the event. All patrons must have their ID’s checked in accordance with TABC regulations regardless of age. Please be prepared to show your ID to the ticket attendant. The proper IDs to get into the event include: a Driver License, a Passport, US military Identification card with a photo and birth date. *Note: the ID cannot be expired at the time of the event.
Is there any food available at the events?
Yes!. Come Hungry! The Grand Zesting will feature culinary delights from some of West Houston's best restaurants.
Where can we park?
Parking is available in the parking lots surrounding Chateau Crystale. There will be valet parking available.
Who benefits from Zest in the West?
The West Houston Leadership Institute is the benefiting charity of Zest in the West. The West Houston Leadership Institute (WHLI) is a ground-breaking 10-month program sponsored by the Houston West Chamber of Commerce. Its purpose is to train and develop leadership in the West Houston community by building on the common core values, goals, and strategic teamwork of our residents and businesses. With the guidance and direction of a dedicated team of current business people and community leaders, WHLI provides the framework for dialogue and analysis of issues facing the community. Self-organized learning expeditions help participants determine first-hand what is happening, what's working, what isn't, what opportunities and threats affect the community, what needs to be done, and who can do it.
Will there be any water available?
Yes, water will be available free of charge.
Can we bring our children, or our pets?
In accordance with TABC rules, no one under the age of 21 is allowed into Zest in the West. Under 21 includes infant, babies, small children, pre-teens and teenagers. Animals will not be allowed in the event.
What should I wear?
Business to Cocktail attire for the Grand Zesting.
What if it rains?
In the event of rain, the event will go on as planned! There will be no refunds, so bring an umbrella to get from your car to Chateau Crystale and come join us at Zest in the West
Are there places to sit down?
Grand Zesting: There will be limited tables and chairs to sit down and the VIP area includes a special limited seating area.
Will there be police presence on site?
Yes, there will be police officers on site at all of the events.
What if I am too intoxicated to drive?
Please drink responsibly! If you are too intoxicated to drive, please proceed to the check-in area of Zest in the West and the attendant will be more than happy to arrange a cab for your ride home. You may also contact any of the event staff (anyone carrying a radio) who will be able to help you arrange a ride home.
Are events wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the events are wheelchair accessible. Please note that the Grand Zesting is wheel chair acceptable but there will be large crowds and wine and food tasting stations to navigate through and around.
Rules for Entrance to Zest in the West
Please be prepared to be carded at any age.
Must be at least 21 years of age to purchase tickets, enter the event and sample alcohol
No firearms may be brought onto the event grounds.
No bicycles allowed on event grounds.
No pets allowed (only service animals).
No distribution of literature allowed within public easements or on festival grounds.
